Tanork voit le jour en 2019 à Rennes, en Bretagne, et s’impose rapidement comme une formation à part dans la scène metal. Puisant son inspiration dans la puissance du death et du thrash metal , le groupe forge une identité singulière, notamment à travers l’utilisation de la langue bretonne dans ses compositions.
En 2023, Tanork franchit une première étape avec la sortie de son premier album, Destined to Die…. Porté par une présence scénique affirmée, le groupe enchaîne les concerts et partage l’affiche de nombreux festivals et salles à travers la Bretagne et la France.
Trois ans plus tard, une nouvelle page s’écrit avec la sortie de Diskar. Ce second album ouvre la voie à une tournée internationale, portant l’univers de Tanork bien au-delà de ses terres d’origine.

Tanork was formed in 2019 in Rennes, Brittany, and quickly established itself as a unique act on the metal scene. Drawing inspiration from the power of death and thrash metal, the band has forged a distinctive identity, notably through the use of the Breton language in its songs.
In 2023, Tanork took a major step forward with the release of their debut album, Destined to Die…. Driven by an uphold stage presence, the band played a set of concerts and entered the line-up at numerous festivals and venues across Brittany and France.
Three years later, a new chapter began with the release of Diskar. This second album paved the way for an international tour, taking Tanork’s world far beyond their homeland.
